CURATORIAL STATEMENT
Public programming has been a connected part of my curatorial, educational, and poetic practices. I believe that it can be part of centering marginalized communities, expanding narratives and genres, and activating texts, objects, and ideas.
SELECTED PROGRAMS/SERIES
Three part virtual series in conjunction with Thomas J. Price: Witness.
Four-part virtual program series centering queer undocumented artists and activists, winning selection from CUE’s 2021 Open Call for Public Programs.
Panel discussion featuring Angie Pittman, Kristina Newman Scott, and viento izqierdo ugaz.
BROOKLYN MUSEUM
Support series including First Saturdays and Art History Happy Hour, and manage the residency of the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra. Supported virtual programming.
